BookJumper Privacy Policy

BookJumper is an AI reading and learning app provided through All Yours Hub. This policy applies to BookJumper, including the Android app with package name com.allyoursai.scholar.store and bookjumper.allyoursai.com. It describes account services, reading, AI assistance, notes, study groups and related features. Features of other All Yours Hub products are outside the scope of this BookJumper notice.

ALL YOURS HUB, INC. is the data controller (under GDPR) and the personal information handler (under PIPL) for the personal information described in this Policy.

If you access All Yours Hub through an organization or circle you were invited to, that organization may also act as an independent or joint controller for information you share within it. Please also review that organization's own privacy notice where applicable.

We process the following information when you use BookJumper:

• Account information: your user ID, username or display name, password hash, and the email address or phone number supplied for your chosen sign-in method. Google sign-in provides the account information needed to authenticate you.
• Reading and learning content you choose to submit: questions, search queries, selected book excerpts, uploaded documents, images, notes, annotations, assignments and other content you create.
• Collaboration: messages, study-room membership and shared materials you choose to make available to a class or group.
• Optional audio: voice input, recordings and uploaded audio used for transcription or voice features.
• Study schedules: calendar events and study plans you create or synchronize.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, approximate country or region derived from it, browser/device information, session or other technical identifiers, app interactions and diagnostic logs. The global site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand usage.

Opening a local file does not by itself upload the entire file. If you request an AI feature, relevant text or images may be transmitted for that request. Uploading or sharing material is a separate action. Local reading files and local progress may remain in browser or device storage.

Books, notes, questions and recordings may contain personal or sensitive information. Provide only material you are entitled to use. Optional content and voice features can be left unused. This BookJumper Google Play build does not request Health Connect data, precise device location, your address book, SMS messages or call logs.

We use account information to authenticate you, manage your account, deliver verification messages and protect against abuse. We use the reading and learning content you submit to provide answers, citations, study tools, transcription, notes and collaboration. Approximate location and preferences help select language and regional behavior. Usage and diagnostic information help us understand performance and keep the service working.

The applicable legal bases and regional rights described below continue to apply. We do not use your reading content for advertising or sell your personal information.

When you choose an AI feature, the relevant question, excerpts, images, conversation context or audio may be processed by our AI service providers, including Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. Only information needed for the feature should be submitted. AI answers can be inaccurate; citations let you check answers against your source.

A local document can therefore remain on your device while selected content is transmitted to answer a question. Avoid submitting confidential content unless you are authorized to do so.

Information is disclosed as needed to provide the functions you choose:

• Other readers receive messages and material you intentionally share with their study room or group. Review the destination and visibility before sharing.
• Service providers process information for hosting, storage, authentication, AI, email or SMS delivery, diagnostics and usage analysis. These include Alibaba Cloud and Vercel, alongside the account and infrastructure providers described in our shared account service. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in.
• We may disclose information where required by law or to protect accounts and the service. Account-deletion retention is described below.

BookJumper does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Transfers to service providers and user-initiated sharing may be treated differently from "sharing" under Google Play's Data safety definitions.

All Yours Hub operates globally and our providers may process personal information in countries other than your own, including outside the EEA/UK and outside China.

Where we transfer personal information internationally we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) for GDPR transfers, and we obtain the separate consent and carry out the assessments required for cross-border transfers under PIPL. Contact us for more information about these safeguards.

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. To request account deletion, open https://bookjumper.allyoursai.com/account-deletion, sign in, review the deletion scope, and type DELETE to submit your request. If you cannot sign in, contact privacy@allyoursai.com from the email address associated with your account.

Once your deletion request is verified, we immediately delete your account and its associated personal data, with no waiting period or additional retention. This includes account and sign-in information, cloud uploads and recordings, reading notes and annotations, AI conversations, study records, and other personal data associated with the account. Retained data categories: none. Additional retention period: none.

The request form records a request for verification and processing; submission alone does not mean deletion is complete. Files stored only on your device cannot be remotely removed through cloud account deletion. Delete those files or clear app storage on that device.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; erase data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@allyoursai.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

If you are in mainland China, you have the right to know about and decide on the processing of your personal information; to access and copy it; to correct or supplement it; to delete it; to withdraw consent; to request an explanation of our processing rules; and to have a deceased relative's relevant information handled by close relatives as provided by law.

We process your personal information based on your consent or another lawful basis under the PIPL, ask for separate consent where required (including for sensitive personal information and cross-border transfers), and will not refuse to provide core services merely because you decline non-essential processing. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, purposes, and recipients; to delete your personal information; to correct inaccurate information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a "Limit the Use" option. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@allyoursai.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we will verify requests as required by law.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and preference storage for language and reading settings. Local files, reading progress and other local content may be stored in your browser or device. Clearing application or browser storage may remove that local content. The global service also uses Vercel Web Analytics for usage measurement; BookJumper does not use advertising cookies.

We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege data access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

BookJumper is intended for readers aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age or parental consent, those requirements also apply. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization, contact privacy@allyoursai.com.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of All Yours Hub after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where your fresh consent is required by law.
